Yogurt Cream Jam Dessert

A creamy yummy easy-to-make dessert, yet healthy and nutritious especially for those kids who are not very fond of yogurt and miss its nutritional value in daily life. Jam-jelly syrup is there to make its taste more irresistible. It’s so yummy, do try this at home.


  • 1/2 cup ‏yogurt
  • 500 ml ‏fresh cream
  • 3/4 cup ‏strawberry jam
  • 3/4 cup ‏hot water
  • 26 gms ‏strawberry jelly powder
  • 30 ‏gala biscuits
  • 1 tablespoon ‏sugar


  1. Crumble biscuits and cover the base of the serving bowl with the crumbled biscuits.

  2. Mix jam, jelly powder, hot water in a pan and heat over medium flame until all incorporated and the syrup becomes bit thick.

  3. Drizzle half of the hot jam syrup on biscuits. Let it cool bit and then freeze so biscuits settle. (Make sure to pour hot syrup over the biscuits to make them soft)

  4. In another bowl, mix fresh cream, yogurt, sugar. Mix well until all incorporated.

  5. Pour this yogurt-cream mixture over the frozen jam biscuit layer.

  6. Swirl the remaining jam syrup over the top of dessert and freeze for 10 minutes until all settled well. NOTE: Be sure to make this dessert right before the time of serving otherwise it will become a bit watery if kept for 3,4 hours.

  7. Serve chilled.
