Tomato sauce is a very spicy and delicious sauce usually served with lentils at dinner making a meal more tempting.
- 5 - 6 large Tomatoes
- Salt add to taste
- 3 TBS Oil
- Red Chili add to taste
- 1 Green chili crushed
- Boil water, switch off stove and dip tomatoes in it for 4 – 5 minutes. Then peel them and let them cool. Grind them in a blender to make its paste.
- Heat oil in a pan. Then add all the ingredients to the pan and cook over medium heat till the desired thickness of the sauce. It should not be too thick nor too thin.
- Serve hot with lentils to enhance their taste.
