Sweet orange salmon is a perfect balance of sweet, savory and spicy flavors. Its a wonderful dinner for weight watchers with a side of green salad.
- 2 tablespoons grated orange zest
- 1 3/4 cup orange juice
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper powder
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red chili
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
Preheat oven to 325 F.
Add all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Make sure that the sugar has been dissolved completely.
Add fish fillets in a shallow dish and rub the spice mixture over the fish.
Heat 3 tablespoons of oil in a large skillet and add the fish fillets. Cook until the fish pieces are browned on both sides.
Transfer the fish pieces to the baking dish greased with oil and bake for 8-10 min until the fish is cooked through. Serve with orange wedges and ENJOY!
