One of the never-fail easy biscuits that look great and taste great too..

Ingredients

  • 1 cup ‏flour
  • 1/2 cup ‏sugar
  • 1/2 cup ‏ghee
  • 1/2 teaspoon ‏baking powder
  • A pinch of ‏salt
  • 2 ‏Cardamom (crushed seeds only)
  • A few ‏Pistachios (for decoration)

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven. Mix flour and baking powder, sift in a bowl.

  2. Add sugar, salt, Cardamoms and ghee and kneed together to make a ball.

  3. Make small balls (this recipe will make about 18); put them on a lightly greased baking tray. Put a pistachio on top of each and lightly press each ball to make it look like a biscuit. They will expand further during baking; make sure they are not placed congested.

  4. Gas oven, on 200 gas mark will take 20 minutes to bake them, or till their bases turn slightly brown

  5. Let them breathe for 10 minutes once they are out of oven, before serving them.
