Moroccan Spice (Ras El Hanout)

Ras El Hanout is a traditional Moroccan spice which is a combination of different spices that are blended and then mixed together.

This spice is also used in North Africa.

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon ‏ground allspice
  • 1 teaspoon ‏ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon ‏ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon ‏ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ‏salt
  • 1 teaspoon ‏ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ‏turmeric
  • 1/4 teaspoon ‏ground cardamom
  • 3/4 teaspoon ‏ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon ‏ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ‏ground cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon ‏ground cloves

Directions:

  1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl until well combined. Store in an airtight container in a dry place.
