Malted milkshake is a delicious creamy combination of chocolate milk, ice cream and malt powder and of course a refreshing snack for hot summer days.
Chocolate milk is sweetened, cocoa-flavored milk. It is available in market or can be made at home with either cocoa powder or with melted chocolate, chocolate syrup. If cocoa powder is to be used then we need a sweetener too.
- 2 cups chocolate milk
- 1 tablespoon non-dia static malted milk powder
- 2 scoops vanilla ice cream
- As required whip cream, for garnishing
For 2 cup chocolate milk, take 2 cup milk and add as many chocolate syrup as chocolaty you want it to be,and mix well. Or you can heat 2 cup milk on a very low flame and add a melted chocolate into it while continuously stirring it till it is mixed with milk. Let the mixture cool and then use it.
Now add home made or ready made chocolate milk to the blender with the ice cream scoops and malted milk powder and blend well till its smooth and frothy. For more good taste use vanilla ice cream and of course a good quality ice cream with more density and low in air, so the output will too be of good quality.
You can add chocolate milk to set the consistency of your shake according to your taste and blend.
Now beat whip cream until medium peaks form, pour into a piping bag and refrigerate for few minutes till the time of serving.
- Now take two long glasses, pour your malted shake in them, garnish the shake with whip cream to make it more yummy and tempting. Serve cold immediately.
