One of the very tasty halwa jaat made in winters is besan-suji halwa. Do try this delicious halwa and you will surely love its extraordinary and unique taste.
- 1 cup Besan (gram flour)
- 1/2 cup Suji (Semolina)
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 1 cup Ghee
- 1 cup Water
- Dry fruit add to taste
- Heat ghee in a pan and fry besan (gram flour) stirring constantly till golden brown and fragrant, on a low flame.
- Then add suji (semolina) and fry for about ten minutes keeping the flame low and stirring constantly.
- Then add dry fruit and mix, add sugar and water and cook on low flame till water dries out.
Dish it out, garnish with dry fruit and serve hot.
NOTE: Keep on stirring halwa while cooking or otherwise lumps will form.
