Try this recipe of homemade chicken pot pie and feel free to add the vegetables of your liking. This dish will be surely loved by each family member.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups ‏cut-up cooked chicken
  • 1 Can (10 3/4 oz) ‏condensed cream of chicken soup or Homemade Soup
  • 1/2 cup ‏milk
  • 1 ‏egg
  • 1/4 cup ‏carrots, sliced
  • 1/2 cup ‏potatoes, sliced
  • 1/4 cup ‏Celery diced
  • 2 Cloves ‏garlic, minced
  • 1/2 Cup ‏frozen peas
  • Corn ‏1/4 Can
  • 1 Pound ‏Puff pastry
  • 2 Tablespoon ‏parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon ‏salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ‏black pepper

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 400°F.
  2. In a large skillet heat butter and place it over medium heat. Stir in salt, black pepper, vegetables, chicken and soup. Cook for 8-10 min until the vegetables are tender. Remove from heat.
  3. Divide the puff pastry in 2 parts, one goes in the lower part of 9 inch pie plate , add all the ingredients in the middle and place the other part of puff pastry on the top.
  4. Bake uncovered about 30 minutes or until crust golden brown.
