Fried Nuts Shake

Its a perfect quick pick-me-up snack, high in protein, and a tasty treat. When you are on a diet or going low-cal, nuts are always a healthy addition to a meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon ‏Almonds (crushed)
  • 1 tablespoon ‏Pistachio (crushed)
  • 1 tablespoon ‏Cashew nuts (crushed)
  • 1 tablespoon ‏Peanuts (crushed)
  • 2 cups ‏milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon ‏Cardamom powder
  • 2 tablespoons ‏sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ‏ghee
  • 2 scoops ‏Strawberry ice cream (optional)

Directions:

  1. Before we start with the preparation, let us fry nuts. Heat ghee in a pan at very low flame, when its heated, add nuts to the ghee and fry them for 2 to 3 minutes. These fried nuts will give an extra delicious taste to the shake.

  2. Now let the nuts mixture cool, so they will be ready to be blended in a blender.

  3. Now process the nut mixture in a blender with milk, cardamom powder and sugar on a high speed.

  4. At the end, add strawberry ice cream scoops to the blender and blend to give it a more sweet and tasty touch with the thick consistency of shake. Ice cream is optional for those who are on diet or sugar conscious.

  5. Pour the shake in glasses and serve cold.
