Whenever we think of healthy breakfast fruit smoothies always comes in mind. Peaches are rich in vitamins, making this smoothie a part of your diet would supply the vital vitamins that are required for body functions. It will also help to keep yourself fit and active.
It is also the best substitute for morning coffee and will lessen your caffeine cravings.

Ingredients

  • 2 cup ‏peaches
  • 1/2 cup ‏peach ice cream (optional)
  • 1 cup ‏plain yogurt
  • 1/2 tablespoon ‏coffee powder
  • 2 tablespoons ‏sugar/honey/maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup ‏crushed ice

Directions:

  1. Wash peaches, dry them and cut them into chunks, discarding the pits and put them in a freezer till you use them.

  2. Add all the ingredients gradually in the blender starting with the liquid one and then the solid ingredients, blend, stir and add more solid ingredients. Repeat this until all done. When the drink is smooth, add ice cream and blend for a second or two. Note: 1) The quantity of yogurt will affect the thickness of smoothie 2) Double the quantity of coffee powder while blending if you like its strong flavor.

  3. Pour into glasses and garnish with very little coffee powder. Pop in straw and serve cold.
