Enjoy this super simple and yummy recipe of a frozen chocolate cake that is easy to make and looks awesome for a dessert as well. You can garnish it with nuts, icing cream and melted chocolate.
- 2 packs marie biscuits
- 1/3 cup peanuts
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 5 tablespoons sugar
- 300 ml cream
- A pinch of salt
In a saucepan melt better over low heat. Add salt, cream, sugar and cocoa powder and keep stirring over low heat till it eventually boils for a few minutes and thickens.
Break biscuits in pieces (roughly 4 or 5 pieces of each biscuit) and add the biscuits and peanuts to the cocoa mixture, remove from heat.
Pour in a lightly greased plastic bag and working from outside the bag, shape it like a log
Freeze for a few hours, when firm cut into rounds with a sharp knife.
