This yummy Shrimp pasta recipe is extremely easy to make and is ready in minutes. When you don’t feel like cooking, toss in some mushrooms and shrimps with the pasta and its done before you know it.
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 kg shrimp without shells
- 250 gms Pasta Fettuccine
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
- 250 gms mushrooms, sliced
- 3 garlic cloves, chopped
- 1 tablespoon dried basil
- 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes
- 1 teaspoon paprika
Shrimps are cooked in minutes so you have to be careful not to overcook it. Heat Oil in a pan and add crushed garlic cloves to it. Saute the shrimps on both sides till they become pink. It will take you about two minutes or a little over to cook them completely. Optionally, you can sprinkle salt on top.
Now take out the shrimps and saute mushrooms by adding a bit more oil to the pan. Cook until mushrooms release their juices. You can also sprinkle a pinch of salt on top.
Boil the pasta as per the instructions given on its packet. Drain and set aside.
Now add shrimps and the rest of the ingredients to the mushrooms in the pan. When the cheese starts to boil, lower the flame and simmer for a few more minutes until the mixture reaches desired strength.
Add in the pasta and cook for a minute or two. Garnish with paprika and chopped green chili. Enjoy!
